While walking along North 12th Street near Bedford in Williamsburg, you may have noticed the large storage tanks by the development site across from McCarren Park. The stalled project at 95 Bedford took on the name Hot Karl Beach, after designer Karl Fischer, but has recently gone by the less-sexy Lake Karl due to the massive accumulation of water, run-off, and who knows what else.
