The much-talked about 580 Carroll has upped the ante: Curbed reports that some of the condo prices have been raised as much as 14 percent. Yowza! At the most dramatic, a two-bed/two-bath has been boosted from $985,000 to $1,125,000. Another two-bedroom was raised 7 percent. There was also some tweaking on the downside, with two other units getting reduced less than five percent. There are currently five listings in contract, according to StreetEasy.

  1. tThese are the worst of the worst floor pl the kitchen is really just along a straight wall in the living room.
know i have beaten this to death but eez, cant someone come up w/different layout for once, this combo room is sooooo HGTV tired already.

  2. I finally went to take a look at the place last weekend. The exteriors anyways.

    Two words: utterly craptacular.

I’m a Dwell-reading, modernism-loving guy, so the design looked alright. Points off for the largely useless wedge-shaped balconies, of course.

The execution of the exterior, however, is terrible. If you are going to use concrete as your surface finish – you have to do it FLAWLESSLY. The edges aren’t squared, but chipped and shoddy looking. The wood fences on the street level were also done poorly, usin the flimsiest of wood, already cracked and splitting.

Yeah, raise the prices. That’ll work.
