love-lane-mews-120710.jpgYesterday Curbed said that it had been hearing reports that Love Lane Mews had actually hit the market already, despite an official target launch date of January. This would make sense in light of a recent Wall Street Journal article claiming that four of the 38 units have found buyers already. (According to the piece, one-bedrooms are priced at $1,050,000, two-bedrooms at $1,450,000, and three-bedrooms at $2,475,000.) Add to that the fact that the new development has taken over a storefront on Montague Street as a sales office and we’d say the launch is pretty official.

  1. Thanks – I don’t know my cars, but I hadn’t heard of that one.

I think they’ve done a great job of re-use on these buildings, and the location can’t be beat. I stopped by and got a price sheet… appears to be $1200-1400psf, which is very pricey. There are several 3BR’s, which are always in demand in BH. I bet sales will jump once bonus season arrives and the folks who won’t sneeze at a 250K parking spot come back from Vail.

  2. Maybe I’m thinking of a different street (it’s been a while since I’ve resided in the heights) – but isn’t Love Ln essentially a pretty unattractive, treeless alley?

  3. $250K for parking is what they’re asking. If they get it I will truly be blown away. Toured the entire building a few weeks back. Very nicely done, though some of the layouts are bit weird. The ceiling heights and closets are exceptional(except the penthouses which are weirdly laid out and have 8′ ceilings which qualify as awful). The terraces from the penthouses have some decent views suprisingly, but then they installed plastic(call it composition) boards between the terraces. Guess if you have a quarter million for a garage space you can install your own mahogany decks and dividers…For my money, I would love one of the one bedrooms at $980,000.

  4. Love it! As the waterfront continues to get developed, I have to think that’s going to have a positive impact as well for current homeowners in BH.

Let’s hope this is more successful than 80 Henry. Speaking of which, does anyone know what’s going on there?
