  1. You could not find a more convenient location in all of Brooklyn. You’re close by the Pumps gentleman’s club, the gas station after which it is named, and the waste treatment center, which is an architectural delight (really). Not to mention numerous bars (Legion) and restaurants, plus all kinds of illegal loft residences and clubs, Roberta’s, and so on. This is the oldest part of Bushwick, dating from 1600. Probably worth about $325,000.

  2. I used to work for a contractors whose office was near that Maujer house. It was very scruffy around there. For a lunch break, you could go see cars that peiple abandoned and set on fire. The contractor considered the neighborhood to be Greenpoint.

  3. The Prudential ad states that Maujer street is comprised of 2 lots “which must sell together,” and the price is $1,340,000. I think it’s Bushwick (east of Bushwick Ave), not Williamsburg. It’s only a couple of blocks from 3rd Ward, which is great place if you’re an artist.
