The first two buildings at the extremely large, mixed-use Navy Green project in Wallabout have topped off, with the development along Clermont showing some skin. (The red brick looks pretty interesting; you can see it closer up after the jump.) The third building in the complex, along Flushing Avenue, hasn’t gone up as quickly, but work’s definitely moving there. Like what you see so far?

cooler perhaps…practical, not so much. you would have much more compromised units… not great light in prison like spaces.
I think it would have been cooler to make the Navy Brig into condos rather than tearing it down and throwing up some generic buildings.
