Construction is chugging along at Williamsburg’s forthcoming boutique hotel at North 11th and Wythe, the Walentas project partially underwritten by $15 million in tax-exempt bond financing. We spotted the first signs of work this March, but at this point they’ve punched out the Kent side of the building. The conversion involves a 10,000-square-foot addition to the 41,100-square-foot former textile factory. It’ll have 73 rooms when construction wraps, which is scheduled to happen by the middle of next year.
