CPEX, the commercial firm that had a $7.75 million listing for the development site at 385 4th Avenue, at 6th Street, is now noting that the property is in contract. The three lots were being marketed with preliminary plans in place for a 52-unit building with 10 parking spots (rendered above), though there was also an option for a buyer to purchase the 6th Street lot separately. New building permits for this one surfaced a few years ago, but there hasn’t been much action at the site since then.

  1. I live a few lots up from this corner, this lot has a new “gate” with a nice bright orange “No Parking Will Be Towed” spray painted on it, so I hope it’s moving forward and they haven’t just sapped a parking space from the block out of spite.

Incidentally the current (previous?) owners of this lot are terrible neighbors and have not once shoveled their sidewalk after snow in the 4 years we’ve lived on the block. It always turns into an icy mess out front.
