Today marked the grand opening of the public plaza on Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The plaza features plenty of benches, tables, chairs and some greenery. This morning a band was preparing to play, and a vendor was setting up a stand to sell tea. Meanwhile, workers are still chugging away on City Point’s first building, which is now sporting signage touting an opening date of Spring 2012. More photos after the jump…

    where’s the street? where’s the sidewalk? what are those weird disembodied steps?
