This new listing at 298 Garfield Place in Park Slope won’t make sense for anyone with kids but looks like a dream for a single person or childless couple. Because it’s on the parlor floor and has and has an extension, the two-bedroom apartment is both spectacularly appointed and generously laid out. (You don’t see two bathrooms in many brownstone floor-throughs now do you!) Anyway, the place is gorgeous and the monthly common charge of $1,023 is manageable so we suspect the asking price of $999,000 is realistic.

The interior details of the apartment are lovely and it looks very spacious. One of the drawbacks of these very deep late Victorian floorplans is that they are very dark. The windows facing the narrow side yard get very little light, especially on the ground floor. That, and the fact that the second bedroom is off the first bedroom makes me think this price is too high. On a higher floor, with more light and air, this would be eve more incredible.
wow. Just wow. Beautiful place. Price? Not so much.
It isn’t really a two bedroom is it?
It’s a one bedroom with an adjacent nursery or office.
It is very nice and of it has a gold coast location.
No idea as to the price.
It would be interesting to follow this one.
