if i can stereotype ridiculously for a moment: i’m hopeful about the place, given all the koreans (i think) i saw going in and out of it the other day. i love me some good korean green grocery…
oh it’s definitely a fauxdega.. hopefully not as expensive as the fauxdegas up the block on 5th avenue, tho i only shop at those in true emergencies (i.e. it’s too icy and snowey to walk down to the real bodegas on 4th ave). but it is a good location for people coming out of the train stop on union. i kinda sorta wish them luck

Probably a glorified bodega but it’s big and they’ve been setting up wood bins outside which must be for produce. It will be great to be able to pick up a few things on the way home – they are well located near the Union St. subway stop. I do things the murals are pretty wacky.
Could be good, but i am thinking that this may end up just being a glorified Bodega – think Pea and Pickles (BH & DUMBO) as opposed to a trader joes or Whole Foods substitute.
pass it everyday, cant wait. looks kinda cool
the cash register area is kind of made out of an old volkswagon or something..
