Progress on Sunset Park's Hip-Hop Hotel

Back in April it didn’t seem plausible that the DJ opening Hotel BPM in Sunset Park would succeed in having the lodging house ready for guests by this summer, as he said he would, and it turns out it wasn’t. Since then, though, windows have gone into the 33rd Street building, and Curbed noted that the hotel’s projected opening was pushed back to the fall. Also, there are plans to have a weekend light show with “automated, neon tube lights and giant project equalizers bouncing up and down in time to the music.”
