We’ve been tracking the conversion of Dumbo’s 200 Water Street since 2007, and sometime early next year people will finally be living in the former warehouse. The rental will have studios, one- and two-bedrooms, according to a teaser website for it that’s now live, and amenities will include a fitness center, roof deck and parking garage. There’s no word yet on what rents will be like, though the most recent comp in the neighborhood is Two Trees’ Gair2 at 25 Washington Street, where rents started at $2,300 a month. DumboNYC notes that ground-floor space in the building is also being marketed for a cafe, restaurant or some other retail use.
