The New Chavela's is Finally Open

Today’s the long-awaited grand opening of Chavela’s, which moved from its tiny digs at 732 Classon Avenue to a bigger space at Franklin and Sterling. I Love Franklin Avenue has a great post with interior shots and all your Chavela’s questions answered: It’ll seat 45, there’s a full bar and the classic menu is still in place. The owners are holding onto the Classon Avenue space, but there are no details as to what it will become. The new spot opened up today at 11 a.m.
