Walt Whitman Park, which is located between Cadman Plaza and the Brooklyn Bridge off-ramp, has been under construction for the past couple of years. Although a sign says the renovation project is not slated to be completed until next spring, a grounds worker we spoke to this week said it would be open in a month or so. It’ll be interesting to see how much this gets used. At least workers at the adjacent OEM and Federal Court buildings will have a nice place to eat lunch!
