The rundown Park Slope building at 107 Prospect Park West, on the corner of 6th Street, is getting some TLC. The architect working on its conversion into condos, Christa Horrigan of Horrigan O’Malley Architects, shares a few details: “The project will be 5 units upon completion. The team is restoring as much of the original detail as physically possible. The property was abandoned in the mid 1980’s and with the help of the Landmark Preservation Committee we are restoring it. Expected completion is summer of 2012.” The property was purchased this summer for $2.7 million. It was originally built as a one-family home but more recently had been split into eight units.
