On Monday the Red Apple Supermarket will finally open on Myrtle Avenue. According to a press release, “John A. Catsimatidis, Chairman of the Red Apple Group…and invited guests will open the store at 218 Myrtle Avenue with a ribbon cutting at 9:30 AM.” The supermarket has been in the making for five years. It will provide 75 permanent jobs, 98 percent of them filled locally. We’re sure nearby residents are more than ready to give this place some business.
