The first couple listings for the new building on 5th Avenue and St. John’s Place have made it to StreetEasy, revealing that two of the four units in the condo are asking $799,000. Listings broker Aguayo and Huebener sent out an email about the property a few weeks ago that said the units run between 582 and 810 square feet, but the StreetEasy ads say they top 1,000 feet. (The floor plans show more than 200 of those feet are outdoor space.) Seems on the pricey side for a building without many amenities.

  1. I think the elevator – outdoor entrance is cool (if not all that practical) and I like the look of this building ( not sure what you people want – it seems to me to be modern yet respectful to its neighbors – I prefer this to some disneyfied version of a 19th century bldg)

The problem with the apartments isnt the layout – the problem is size – these apartments are just too small to be a ‘luxury’ 2br apartment. And therefore the ultimate problem here is one that is eminently fixable – its the price. At 650K these are awsome
