A big commercial real estate sale in Downtown Brooklyn hit public records yesterday. It includes the big office building at 350 Livingston Street and the 23,000-square-foot building at 345 Schermerhorn (both pictured). The buyer, who wasn’t identified in the deed, also nabbed the 2,500-square-foot lot at 325 Schermerhorn and vacant land at 62-64 Flatbush Avenue, which appears to be the parking lot behind Flatbush and next door to 345 Schermerhorn. The entire sale came in at $30 million. There’s potential here for a huge development that basically takes up all of Schermerhorn between Nevins and Third Avenue. If so, demolition may be on the horizon for 350 Livingston and 345 Shermerhorn, though it could also be prime target for conversion. Update: as a commenter pointed out, the buyer is Steiner Studios, according to the Real Deal.
