A reader sent in the photo above and says: “Looks like the lads working at 580 Carlton have located the soft corner of the formerly adjoining house. We’ll see what happens.” The collapsed building is 578 Carlton, the equally run-down brick home next door. As for 580 Carlton, the facade and far wall, opposite the collapsed corner, are all that remains of the original structure. This is part of a major renovation in attempts to sell the home for $2 million. Our tipster believes that 578 Carlton was still occupied at the time of the building collapse. There are currently no DOB violations at the site.

    yeah that or he sold one, was planning to wait until it was fixed and then sell the other dump for a premium. either way it was a good idea.
