Going up soon at 836 Deklab Avenue, on the corner of Throop: a five-story mixed-use building. The DOB approved permits this month for 24 dwelling units. Considering there’s a zoning overlay for retail use here, we bet this build will also get some ground-floor retail space too. Right across the street, at 832 Dekalb Avenue, a five-story, 51-unit building is well under construction. It’s designed by architect Natalyia Donskoy (a Scarano alum) and will have retail space and a health care facility. And just one block away, the residential renovation of 270 Pulaski Street looks like it is coming to a close. Architect Damon Strub renovated the building for St. Nicks Alliance.
