This is the house the Chiclets empire built; most architectural critics consider it “the finest Romanesque Revival private home in the city,” according to our own Montrose Morris. The C.P.H. Gilbert manse is currently divided into 10 apartments, which doesn’t bode well for the interior, but the property will be delivered vacant, according to the listing.
