Is this what’s to come to 66 Boerum Place, on the corner of Atlantic Avenue? Currently a construction fence is up and the parking lot is no more at the 16,450-square-foot parcel, owned by St. Vincent’s Services. The Department of Buildings also disapproved a building application for a “three-story commercial/retail building with full cellar.” The above rendering, from developers ACHS Management website, matches those most recent plans. A rep at ACHS wouldn’t tell us any details about the development, or if commercial tenants were lined up. According to their website, the cellar, second, and third floor will come in at 15,700 square feet each, for a total of 62,800 square feet. There will be 168 feet of frontage on Atlantic Avenue. This site is right across the street from the stalled 252 Atlantic Avenue, where plans call for a two-story commercial building that will house a Pier 1 and Retro Fitness. St. Vincent’s started marketing 66 Boerum Place for lease years ago. GMAP

  1. It is a little weird that just blocks away they are tearing down historic Underground Railroad sites, while meanwhile there are all of these parking lots nearby that are just getting crappy little buildings.
