There’s been chatter about this for a while now, but the Post reports that Sephora has officially signed the lease at the Downtown Brooklyn Municipal building. Sephora will take a 7,000-square-foot, ground-floor corner spot, as well as 1,300 square feet of storage. The developers United American Land, who are currently renovating the building into a commercial hub, were asking a rent of $140 per square foot. YogaWorks also signed a lease for 5,000 square feet on the lower level, and the Post says United American Land is in discussion with other women’s fashion tenants. There’s a total of 39,500 square feet of retail on the ground and second floors of the building.
