The former MTA property at 166 Smith Street (aka the Smith Street Bunker) received a new brick facade and is almost ready for its debut as a rental building. There are eight units in total — ranging from one-and-a-half- to three-and-a-half bedrooms, each with different layouts. Each unit comes with a private outdoor space. Interiors feature hardwood floors, recessed lighting, dishwashers, and a stackable washer and dryer unit. You can see photos after the jump. One apartment is officially on the market; it’s a two-bedroom, two-bath asking $4,995 a month. Lululemon opened in the building’s ground-floor commercial space in mid-June.
