CVS Buildout Begins on Flatbush Avenue

A construction crew has started work on the ground-floor retail space of the ConEd building at Flatbush Avenue and Nevins. They’re remaking the interior for a CVS Pharmacy — plans for the chain to move into the space surfaced early this year. A peek inside revealed the corner space to be quite large. As our tipster said about the incoming drug store: “Just what Brooklyn needs, right?” The storefront has been empty for a long time so at least something’s going in!
