Northside Piers developers L+M Development Partners are looking across the street: They plan to build a seven-story, 164-unit mixed-use building at 149 Kent Avenue, previously home to the Western Carpet warehouse. Buzz Buzz Home picked up a diagram of the proposed project, which lies between North 5th and North 6th streets in Williamsburg, from the new building application, filed June 21. It will include parking, bicycle storage, a shared rooftop terrace as well as private rooftop patios, and ground-floor commercial space. GF55 will design it.
