Pricing and floor plans are up for the “boutique hotel-style” rentals at 50 North 5th Street in Williamsburg. Banners have been up on the building for weeks advertising that the building is now leasing, but there were no listings online. As you might expect, prices for “NYC’s poshest new address” aren’t low: a studio starts at $2,600 a month; the most expensive unit listed is a two-bedroom for $4,500 a month. As previously reported, amenities include two lounges, an indoor basketball court, garden, bocce ball court, and rooftop space. Click through to the jump to see a floor plan for one of the studios. To our eye, it looks a little more generous than most studio apartments. What do you think of the designs and prices?

  1. It is amazing the ridiculous prices in rent people will spend on such little living space.
    It is only 2 rooms.
Every 1 bedroom was the same crap layout we have seen time and time again.

      • Love it.

        but true.

remember back in the days you rented a 3 room apartment. thta was the standard, that was a one bedroom

        a bedroom
        a living room
a kitchen – one that was actually a seperate roon for a real table and chaiurs.

        imagine that

  2. From looking at the floor plans, I actually don’t think $4500 is too bad assuming that is for the penthouse apartments with the large terraces.
