A tipster sent us these photos and rendering of a four-story, seven-unit apartment building rising at 352 Monroe Street, on the corner of Tompkins Avenue in Bed-Stuy. A new building permit was issued just last month for the project, which is zoned for 5,099 residential square feet. The owner, who also owns several other Brooklyn properties, purchased the formerly vacant piece of land for $250,000 in June 2012, according to PropertyShark. The work is supposed to finish up next summer. GMAP
