The building that we said does not look like any other going up in Williamsburg is now leasing, as Curbed was the first to note. While the outside has giant cornices and touches of rusty Corten steel, the inside features repurposed old beams and exposed brick. Every unit has floor to ceiling windows and a balcony, and amenities include a rooftop with pergolas and views, parking and a full-time doorman.

The building has 113 units and stands 10 stories high between Driggs and Bedford. The developer is Rabsky Group and it has been in the works since 2008. It was designed by Scarano protege Nataliya Donskoy of ND Architecture & Design P.C. Durukan Design handled the interiors.

Seventeen of the units have been rented, according to the broker. Of the units left, studios start at $2,275, one-bedrooms at $2,650 and two-bedrooms at $3,825, according to an email we received from Fiddler Realty, which is handling the leasing. The first open house is this weekend. 1. The kitchens are way too small, hardly any cabinet space. The shelf thing looks stupid and isn’t functional.
Where the eff are you supposed to put a table & chairs? Doesn’t anyone want or need a table any more?
I know I’m old and out of touch, but to me I don’t think I could live without a table and 4 chairs.

The kitchen layout up against the wall in the foyer is ABSOLUTELY terrible, the designed should be shot for that one. The kitchen cabinetry is too high, who can really reach up there?
The Living / Kitchen combo room is too small to be 2 rooms, and we know that already. I don’t know, but who ever designs this crap doesn’t seem to take “living in it” into consideration.

The outside of the building is pretty, but again, the same old 2 room layouts. Can’t anyone be a little more creative these days?
The bathrooms look like they should be in a disco. Did I really just age myself?

So over all, I think they are crappy. Makes me really appreciate the walk up I live in.
