The long white parking garage on St Johns between Franklin and Classon in Crown Heights will come down soon for an eight-story Karl-Fischer designed residential development, according to a plan exam filed last week. Developer Rabsky Group filed plans December 13 for a 172-unit project at 564 St. Johns Place, which was first reported by BuzzBuzz Home.

The 136,373-square-foot development will have parking for 86 cars, storage, bike storage and a laundry room, as well as indoor and outdoor recreation spaces. PropertyShark lists the current owner as an LLC, and no recent sales have hit public records yet. No demolition permits have been filed for the parking garage, which sits between Five Myles Gallery and the shuttle train tracks. GMAP
