lefferts-manor-house-tour-2014

More house tours are on the horizon, scheduled to take advantage of the good weather in spring and early summer. Park Slope’s tour takes place this Sunday, May 18. Up next is Prospect Lefferts Manor June 1. Then Flatbush is June 8.

The Lefferts Manor tour will feature nine stops as well as refreshments, a wine tasting, and a meeting with architects, contractors and homeowners “to gather ideas and resources.” Houses on the tour, one of which is pictured above, date from 1898 to 1922 and include a detached circa-1900 wood frame house and a 1915 neo-Tudor. For lots of photos and more information, check out the Lefferts Manor Association website.

The Park Slope tour features eight stops and more information can be found on the website of the Park Slope Civic Council. The Victorian Flatbush tour will feature many freestanding homes, which are typical of the area. For more information, see the website of the Flatbush Development Corporation.
