Demolition Complete on Mammoth N 4th Site

development
It's amazing what a difference a couple of months can make. We moved out of our Williamsburg rental and into our Clinton Hill brownstone in August. Since then we've only been back to Williamsburg a couple of times and had somehow missed the speedy demolition of the entire half block of North 4th Street between Bedford and Berry. Holy cow this plot is huge! We're assuming condos, natch, but have no clue about specifics. Whose project is this? GMAP

It is going to be a block-long series of town-house-looking apartments. I believe it is all one development, but designed to look like multiple buildings. Kind of like an upscale version of the United Homes bunkers that are across the street.

Potentially a disaster but let's hope they pull it off a la State Street townhouses

TeoNYC is right about the townhouses. The look is not so much State Street - the street wall is more broken up, and the development is really a single building inside (I don't remember if there are spearate entries on the street). There is also a a circular driveway in the center of the block.
