We’re curious to hear what people think of 255 Eastern Parkway aka the Woodrow Wilson. We dig the exterior of the building and we’ve always assumed it had typically generous pre-war dimensions and details. We suspect that the reason this 1,600-square-foot five-bedroom feels a little more cramped is that an extra bedroom or two were carved out of the original space–probably at the same time that the crown moldings were removed. Still, there can’t be too many other options in the area for a large family that’s not interested in townhouse living. Who can tell us more about the building?

i currently live there and have been livng there for my whole life…i hope i ca somehow inherit it from my parents smeday..I would not trade it for anything else…people are surprised when they see my 5 bedroom apt. because it’s so big, it’s not cramped like most apts. in manhattan
this building is good i live here in a 3bdrm we bought it while we were still living here and renovated every single room and we had a great view of manhattan but this building being built blockes it now and my mom does all the gardening and decorations
I used to live in this apartment until about a year and a half ago (A15) and I absolutely loved it! Huge space, beautiful building, great neighborhood. The kitchen is a little small for such a massive space but the 5th bedroom (which is really a 1/2 bedroom behind the kitchen) could easily be used to expand the kitchen. Other than that, I loved this apartment.

I like in Park Slope, but I think the stretch of Eastern Parkway beginning at the Grand Army Plaza area is gradually getting better and better. Already, the Copley at 41 Eastern Parkway is commanding $1 million-plus for its coops, when you could have easily bought a huge Classic 7 in that building for under $700,000 in 2003. (I know, because I passed it up. Sigh.)
I have a friend that lives in this building. She has been there for a while now and loves it.. I personally have been in the market for a while now and can honestly say that for the location the price for this apartment is excellent! You get loads of space, and the trains are like right outside your door!
