Development Watch: 207 South 1st Street

There's something about this new building going up on South 1st between Bedford and Driggs that appeals to us. And guess who designed it? Scarano Architects. It has a nice airy, modern feel but also seems to integrate well with the existing facades and streetscape. The DOB filings reveal that this is a 6,800-square-foot residential project. Anyone have any other details?

It looks like a college library built in the 70s to me.

nice call, TonyTone. upscale suburban high school built on the gov't dime anywhere u.s.a. circa 1969. and, oh, yes - ew.
