174 Vanderbilt: What a Difference Two Weeks Make

After months of creeping along at a snail's pace, work at 174 Vanderbilt has sprung into high gear in the last couple of weeks. The Meltzer Mandl project is slated to have 73 residential units, 38 parking spaces and one fountain. Any predictions of when this'll be done?

It's a double-edge sword for me. I live in the Armory next door, and this bldg is going to block my windows on one side of my apartment. But the sooner it gets done, the sooner I'll have some peace and quiet (I work from home).

Meltzer Mandl design ugly buildings. There isn't much hope for this place.
