Don't Demo Domino Concert on Sunday

dontdemoflyer1.jpgThe preservationist movement will be letting down its hair on Sunday when six bands join in at the Don't Demo Domino Concert at Grand Ferry Park in Williamsburg. As most readers know, the oldest and largest structure in the complex, the Filter House, has been put on the calendar to be considered by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in the upcoming weeks. To show your support for the designation, all you have to do is show up and put your name on a petition to Mayor Bloomberg. The rest is free. We'll be there to introduce one of the bands, the saucy Wau Wau Sisters, so stop by and say hi. (The tenants of one South 1st building are already getting in the mood.)
