Development Watch: 338-342 22nd Street

Just when you thought it was safe to go out in the South Slope again, it looks like a couple of the neighborhood favorites are gearing up for some summer fun. Over at 338-342 22nd Street where Henry Radusky has designed a 18,671-square-foot four-story building, the developer just got the new building permits on Friday and, judging from the signs still up on the site, good ole Knockout Construction will be doing the dirty work. (To refamiliarize yourself with Knockout's unique approach to asbestos removal check out this video on Youtube.) It looks like it's gonna be a long, hot summer. GMAP P*Shark DOB

The above photos are hilarious, totally forgot about the truck depot.

We remember walking by on our way back to the South Slope up 22nd St. to cut over onto 7th Ave. and there was a mad dash to park all these freekin' trucks the day before Passover (ethnicity implied).

Our friend in the neighborhood said they were there for 3 weeks. Matzoth Express?

And now Radusky...sorry folks, but have fun this summer.

Who owns the Budget trucks? There is a fleet of them in a corner lot on Park and Hall (what was recently ABC Pallet City), usually spilling over onto the adjacent streets.

Mr Radusky has been granted the DoB permits to rightfully use that lot as a mobile yeshiva staging ground. How dare you imply that anything Henry designs ever gets used for something other than it's stated certificate of occupancy!

Jack,

LOL!

Now, if were only you.

SWO, with intent to revoke permits as of 6/19.

Sorry boys, back to the drawing board...
