457 Atlantic Ready for Launch
We feel sorta ambivalent about the new 21-unit condo project at 457 Atlantic Avenue called, surprise, surprise, The Atlantic. (Actually, it is surprising that no other building has this name already.) We feel sorta ambivalent about the new 21-unit condo project at 457 Atlantic Avenue called, surprise, surprise, The Atlantic. (Actually, it is surprising that no other building has this name already.) Of the eight units listed already on the Halstead site, seven are two-bedrooms priced in the $700 to $750 per square foot range. Some of them have some nice double-height ceilings. The overall look is basic modern, nothing to knock your socks off but definitely a step up from some the architect’s other work. There’s not a ton of stuff condos on the market in Boerum Hill right now, so it’ll be interesting to see how these do. There was an open house yesterday and there’s a kick-off party for the insider set on Thursday.

Anyone know what’s coming to the ground space here? I saw that the retail space sign said ‘in contract’
I wonder how many units are in contract…the halstead website seems states that there are 9 left.
This is a great development that offers unique and sophisticated design at a relatively low price. All of the units come equiped with either a balcony/patio or roof deck as well as private storage rooms in the basesment (this alone is worth the price of admission)
i went to an openhouse and thought it was reasonably priced for what it is, considering the prices in cobble hill. it’s nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong with it either. the only thing is that each unit has it’s on hot water boiler. does that mean a lot of extra expenses for the owner?
Absolutely beautiful looking apartments. Drop them down to like 650 per square foot and they fly off the shelves. At 700 they’re a stretch, but I don’t doubt people will buy them.
Too bad I can’t afford them worth a shit.
Looks like crap! Really no effort was made to make this halfway decent and at $750 a/ft who are they kidding?
There is another building called the atlantic. On atlantic between hicks and henry.
How about “The Atlantic” on Atlantic between Hicks and Henry?
