Considering that another apartment at 35 Prospect Park West in Park Slope was on sale last year for $6,500,000 (did it sell?), the fact that this duplex on the 14th and 15th floors is now asking $4,450,000 shouldn’t raise any eyebrows, right? (There’s also a lower-floor unit on the market right now for $3,500,000.) The 11-room apartment was originally built as a duplex, so there shouldn’t be any awkward post-combination issues to swallow. In addition to the five bedrooms, there are also two staircases. We’re not sure the wood-paneling is totally working for us but, whatevs, sweet pad. Think the price will fly?

Would help if the broker gave the room dimensions on the floorplan. Guest 1:30 is estimating 4000 square feet but that seems way high….
The $6.5 million penthouse in this building is in contract, as per the listing on BHS and Corcoran.

A Curbed commenter had noted yesterday that Beyonce bought a two-bedroom apartment at the Meier building. Yesterday evening, GL received an email from an industry source that simply said, “Beyonce rumor is confirmed.” … So, it looks like Brooklyn may have landed another celebrity, although Beyonce already owns a luxury spot in Manhattan. Unless, of course, the rumor is un-confirmed after this confirmation.”
Interesting how an alleged 2BR apartment has ballooned to FOUR FLOORS.
