Although the downzoning-related Stop Work Order from last October remains in place, 136 Clifton Place (aka 315 Greene Avenue) just got approval from DOB for a New Building application originally filed by none other than Karl Fischer way back in December 2005. The 48-unit project, which wasn’t exactly a hit with the neighbors when it was live, is being brought to you by the same developers currently putting up the 12-story building just down the block at 339 Greene Avenue and is being financed by a $12.5 million construction loan from CPC. This one’s only slated to be four stories though.

  1. want to see sales/growth in Bed-Stuy!??? walk 15 minutes further on Dekalb ave; they sold out on “Dekalb Lofts” about a year ago.
now there’s more Loft/Condo construction on Dekalb ave on the way! This time I’m going to jump on it!!!

  2. Though I welcome development in Bed-Stuy, must it be out of place with the existing low-rise nature of the area?

    Ugh.
