With the facade just about complete, the website for Mario Procida’s downtown project at 189 Schermerhorn Street (aka 200 Livingston Street) has now gone live. The name of the development is loud and clear: be@schermerhorn. (The url, however, is spelled out as beatschermerhorn.com.) Other than that, there ain’t a whole lot of info to be gleaned. It does appear that the 250 or so units will be comprised of studios, one bedroom and two bedrooms, with the cheapest apartments starting at $300,000. According to the site, formal sales will begin in the Fall.

  1. I actually like the building a lot. Hopefully all these new developments will clean up that strip on Schermerhorn. (And not sit empty for the next three years!)

  2. Why are they waiting so long to start selling? Most comparable developments started selling around the time they broke ground.

  3. Wasn’t Procida trying to sell this project to a buyer who would make it a rental? I guess they weren’t able to sell so they’re going through with the project as a condo…
