Last we looked, this Henry Radusky-designed project was nothing more than a hole in the ground, with crews working away on the foundation. Things are progressing here, though Radusky’s office didn’t return calls or requests to see a rendering. Their most recent DOB filing confirms a 12-story, 80-unit building, and the Concerned Citizens of Greenwood Heights Web site has pictures of the spot over the years.

  1. Good – as someone who used to live half a block from there, this is one particular area that can only be improved by residential development. Maybe when these buildings are done, the M train won’t be so lonely in the morning anymore.

  2. I live down the block…there is always a flurry of activity going on there, even on Saturdays. It looks like it is going to be huge – probably on the same scale as the project going up on 13th and 4th.

I heard from a resident of the block they were told it was slated for completion sometime in 2010.
