Went to an open house at 16th Street condos, Only 4 Left Now!
They dropped prices another 100,000
What with all the sombreros, you missed this truly funny line from the 16th Street condo:
“CONDOS 7 Unit Brick Building…Only 5 Left!”
Thanks, THL…my bad for referencing a vid from 2003. How could I not remember that sketch.
When I saw the video ‘Day After’, I got so excited, thinking Chappelle was back doing what he does best, and the world will be a better place.
They actually took that from Chappelle’s Show. It originally aired in 2003 as “Reparations”.

I just watche the vid that Dave Chappelle did. – ‘The Day after Obama Wins’
FUNNY!!!
I’ll try to find a link to it on youtube or someplace.
Also, if Obama gets elected, I’ll puke in my sombrero, but I’m not going anywhere.
The upside is that his tax and waste policies will drive this recession for years and possibly allow for some bargain real estate deals in the next few years.
The home in Merida Dave posted is nice, but expensive for its size. You can pick up rundown historic townhouses much bigger than that one in historic Merida for 100k and renovate dirt cheap.
My extensive expertise comes from having watched one episode of International House Hunters in Merida. I’ve seen most of the shows.
In a more recent episode a couple bought a giant house in the stunningly beautiful countryside of Portugal, within driving distance of Lisbon, for less than 500k.
While parts of Mexico are cheap, I bet Portugal would be a better long term investment.
What, you are irrepressible! The man has enthusiasm – you have to give him that!
“You can’t stop The What, you only can hope to contain him…”
Same advice the exterminator gave The What on his cockroach infestation in his Lodi apartment.
