The old 398 Bond Street was demolished back in 1998, replacing this two-story guy that used to be there (photo from Property Shark). Somehow, the building, just next to Third and Bond, is still under construction. A new building permit was filed back in 2005, by local architect John Hatheway, calling for a three-story, two-unit building . What I’d like to know is how they can build the entire lot, boundary to boundary, no yard left over and at least five stories? What’s the deal with the zoning there, anyone know how I could find that out?
