In this environment, small victories are worth savoring. So the broker team at Elliman behind the BellTel marketing efforts must be feeling pretty good about the incremental sales they’ve managed to rack up over the past few months. Recall that the converted telephone headquarters was reported to be 40 percent sold last summer and had reached 50 percent by November. StreetEasy shows 111 of 219 units as sold, but we hear that they are currently at the 55 percent mark and that there are a few contracts out that should get them to 57 percent by next week. Anyone know what kind of price concessions they’ve had to make to close these recent deals? In the meantime, we got our hands on a list of 12 units that are currently available for rent. We posted it below but, to summarize, prices range from $3,200 a month for a 949-square-foot one-bedroom on the 17th floor to $4,850 for a 1,703-square-foot three-bedroom on the 8th floor. The best deal of the bunch looks to us to be a 1,287-square-foot three bedroom on the 7th floor for $3,650 a month.

  1. the best way to find out if a building is really great is to ask if the developer or real estate agents live in the building. I really hope they clean up fulton street, because they have been trying to clean up the area for many many years. Good luck in the sale of the units.

  2. We went and visited it fairly recently. The sales office was gross, the staff was smarmy, and it has a front row view of the incredibly ugly 111 Lawrence under construction. Other than the cool lobby, this building didn’t seem to have much going for it.

  3. Two things:
Heard that the problems there regarding sponsor finances, staff, heating etc. are no better.

I just got a sales call (at home) from them! Have no idea what kind of list they have.
