After the weather caused her to postpone her visit by a day, Martha Stewart brought her film crew, her niece and her french bulldogs to The Brooklyn Flea underneath the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday for a one-hour show she’s putting together on Brooklyn and its food scene. She started things off interviewing the Flea founding team (above) and then set off to sample the market’s culinary delights. (Brokelyn has a nice round-up here.) The show is tentatively set to air on November 10, but we’ll keep you posted. The combination of the weather and the Martha buzz made it by far the most successful day that vendors have had all year, which is great news. Thanks to everyone who came out!

  1. Oh, thanks, Rob – I never would have thought of that.

The couple of times I have been to the Flea (without my dog), I wasn’t terribly impressed. Too much overpriced junkyard furniture. Sorry.

Hey – did they let her bring her dogs in? I have been boycotting the Flea because of the “no dogs allowed” policy… does anyone know if that has changed?

:-/ leave your dog at home. jeez
