As you may recall, the owner of Lucali’s has had a new place in the works at 691 6th Avenue in Greenwood Heights called Giuseppina’s. We had been expecting to find it already open (or at least close to it) when we passed by this weekend, but as you can see from this photo (and this one from two months ago), the site appears to be in suspended animation. A check of the DOB website reveals that the cause of the delay could have something to do with a disapproved work permit.
