Since we broke the news last September above the lawsuit surrounding brownfield issues at 388 Bridge Street in Downtown Brooklyn, we haven’t heard a peep about the case. We did notice that a bunch of permits that had been applied for in 2008 were approved by DOB last month, though, so we decided to swing by last week for a look. As far as we could tell, the site was still on lockdown. Anyone heard what’s going on here?

  1. CCB, we broke this story using investigative journalism and none of the people involved were very pleased. You think they’re going to talk to us now? One of virtues of a blog format is the ability to gather information from readers. This benefits everyone. Open your eyes, it’s 2010.

Hey lazy ass Dntwn, read the friggin’ links we provided to the three other posts.

  2. Agreed, we come here to find out from you what’s going on. Who is the developer, how big was the building planned to be, and is this joining the other vacant lots (Flatiron, Pepper Potts car dealership, OroII, City Point) that probably won’t be built before 2020
