We told you on Monday that the National Guard had asked the city to cordon off part of the sidewalk on Navy Street over concerns about the structural instability of the Timber Shed. Well, the barricades are up, but it looks like it was the wall more than the shed that they were worried about.

  1. Minard, it wouldn’t be the city’s decision at this point in the Section 106 process. It is my opinion the State Historic Preservation Officer will take a very dim view of the Corp not doing everything it can to preserve this structure.

  2. Might wanna outlaw parking on that side. Looks fair game for the overturning radius considering the barbwire on the tippy top of the fence.
