We noticed this six-story mixed-use building at 433 3rd Avenue for the first time last weekend on our way back from picking up a fresh container of propane at Home Depot. Designed by SLCE Architects, a firm that’s done a lot of large residential towers, the building strikes us as a little dull but nothing that’s going to distract from the immediate environs. According to the DOB permit, there will be 26 residential units when all’s said and done.
